Open Position: Veterinary Technician


We're seeking a responsible, flexible, teachable, pet-loving, and people-loving veterinary technician for our progressive small animal hospital; experience is required.

Busy 2-Doctor practice. Semi-paperless facility with Idexx lab equipment, digital radiography, ultrasound, K-Laser, dental x-ray, Cornerstone software, and state of the art surgery suite. Cross-trained experience as a receptionist is highly recommended.

Position #2: Veterinary Receptionist

We're seeking a veterinary receptionist who can multi-task while also providing excellent customer service. Must be friendly with a positive attitude; must love people and animals! We are looking for someone with a willingness-to-serve attitude who works well in a team environment. Must also work well with computers and pay close attention to detail. Must be familiar with basic veterinary terms and the ability to educate clients. We take pride in our receptionists, as they are the faces of our business; the first and last people our clients see. We are looking for someone who can represent our business well and fits well with our team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, answering a 3-line phone system, checking patients in/out, handling cash and credit card transactions, performing end-of-day reports, managing daily schedules, handling receptionist email, faxing/scanning/inputting records and weighing animals during check-in. Experience in a veterinary clinic is recommended, but not required. If no experience, must have previous customer service experience, preferably in the medical field and must be a fast learner.
