Dr. Justin Wortley
Veterinarian
Dr. Wortley was born and raised in Stephenville, TX. He has always wanted to be a vet as long as he can remember and loves working with and helping animals and their owners. He attended Tarleton University undergrad for his BS in biomedical science while also practicing as a large and small animal technician. He graduated Texas A&M vet school in 2014. He practiced mixed animal veterinary care for 2 years in Abilene right out of school and then moved to DFW for small animal general practice up until Dec 2021. He now does alot of work helping out multiple clinics in the area with everything from general wellness care and spays and neuters to ER and Urgent Care. He has a strong passion for surgery and ER/UC medicine.
Out of the office he spends his time with his family and pets and traveling with his wife Anna, who also works in the veterinary field. He enjoys paintball, basketball, and baseball and goes scuba diving whenever he gets the chance. He has a 10y old husky/shepherd mix named Chief that was a rescue from Abilene. A 2y pit bull mix named Peaches that was a rescue from an ER where she was brought in for being hit by a car, and a shorthaired cat, Charlie, that came up to him as a stray while I was in vet school.
