Dr. Reilly grew up in Grand Island, Nebraska, where her passion for veterinary medicine began at an early age. She often spent time at her father’s veterinary clinic, where she enjoyed playing with patients, observing exams and surgeries, and seeing firsthand the special bond between pets and their owners. These formative experiences fostered a deeper appreciation for the human–animal bond and inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from a small college in Nebraska before being accepted into the Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She completed her first two years of veterinary school there and went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Iowa State University. Following graduation, Dr. Reilly practiced small animal medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, before relocating to Texas in pursuit of new experiences and opportunities.
Dr. Reilly’s professional interests include preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, and the behavioral and psychological well-being of her patients. She is committed to promoting a balanced approach to animal health, emphasizing the importance of both physical and mental stimulation.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Reilly enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new restaurants, baking, and walking her two dachshunds, Winnie and June Bug. She also enjoys relaxing days with her two cats, Franki and Beanie.
