"A few weeks ago I took my dog to another vet (which I will respectfully not name) and they diagnosed him with intestinal parasites and prescribed a ton of meds. After a couple weeks he was not better so I took him back to the original vet for another checkup. They did absolutely no examination on him and were convinced it was still intestinal parasites. I wanted to get another opinion so I took him to Norh Texas Veterinary clinic. Everyone there was so caring and Dr James was almost certain it was a blockage. After a few X-rays and blood work it actually did end up being a blockage. If we would have listened to the original vet, my dog would be dead. Dr James squeezed in an appointment for my dog and ultimately made the diagnosis to save my dogs life. My dog just got out of surgery last night and is doing great. On another note, Dr James has been our family vet for years and has always been very knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring with our pets. Highly recommend this place!"

As an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited facility, North Texas Veterinary Clinic regularly undergoes evaluations to ensure that we meet or exceed AAHA's standards of care.

These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, exam facilities, patient care, cleanliness, client service, emergency services, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology. Only 15% of animal hospitals in the United States and Canada are accredited by AAHA, which is recognized worldwide as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine.
