Dr. Tatiana Corvalan

Dr. Tatiana Corvalan

Dr. Corvalan was born in Mexico and raised in San Antonio, Texas from the age of five. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2019 before pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian at Texas A&M University, where she graduated with her DVM.

Her passion for veterinary medicine began while volunteering at her local animal shelter during undergrad, where she discovered a love for shelter medicine. She later gained additional experience working at a small animal emergency clinic, which helped shape her special interest in emergency and critical care. Dr. Corvalan is also Fear Free certified and has a growing passion for ophthalmology. Dr. Corvalan became a veterinarian out of a deep love for both animals and medicine. She’s driven by the desire to improve the lives of pets and help preserve the special bond they share with their people.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys off-trail hiking with her two dogs—Dexter, a spirited Mini Aussie, and Toro, a sassy Mini Schnauzer. She also loves floating on the lake and watching scary movies.
